Whether you'd like to know more about our platform, or about testimonials in general - here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.
To register for an account, simply click on the "Register Now" button at the top of the page. You'll need to provide your email address and company name and choose a "slug". You can only register one account per email address.
A "slug" is the part of URL after the domain name. If you create an account with the slug "my-company", then your testimonials page would be "https://www.testimonial-hub.com/my-company". Your slug must be valid to use in a URL path, so cannot contain certain special characters. Also to prevent problems with double-indexation, which impacts your SEO, we've restricted slugs to lowercase only. If you manage more than one business,
Once you've registered for an account you can use the "Log In" link to get to the login page. Enter the email address and slug of the account you'd like to login to. These fields are case sensitive so ensure you are not accidentally using the wrong case. For your security, instead of storing a password, we use your email address to verify that it's you each time by sending a one-time passcode to your inbox. If you're not receiving the code please check your spam filters and for the future ensure that "info@testimonial-hub.com" is added to your allowed senders list.
Once logged in you will see a menu option for "Profile". Use this area to change your email address or company name (slug is readonly), upload your company logo or change the colours of your branded pages. You can use the colour pickers to choose a colour, or if you have the hex codes from your existing website you can paste them into the textboxes in the format "#rrggbb". (Hint: "Testimonial Border" supports upto 4 hex codes: top, right, bottom, left - but only if you're pasting in!)
Once you've logged into the site and configured your page branding it's time to request testimonials from your customers. When you're ready to request a testimonial, from the "My Testimonials" page simply click "generate" and then send the generated link to your customer. We don't contact your customers directly as we feel it's better that your customer hears from you, in your own words by whatever means you'd normally communicate with them. Once they've clicked on the link and submitted their testimonial you'll receive an email notification, at which point you can login to approve or reject the testimonial.
When you reject a testimonial it moves to the "Rejected" page. The testimonial can be re-submitted, at which point it will move back into your "Review" list. You can also choose to reject/approve any testimonial at any point down the line.
Once you approve a testimonial, it will be visible on your public testimonials page! You can also choose to reject a previously approved testimonial at any point down the line.
This is not something that you can self-serve at this point in time. You could manually generate links and submit the content for each testimonial yourself, just make sure the testimonials are genuine! Alternatively, we'd be happy to quote to do the work for you through our in-house dev team.
No, testimonial-hub.com is designed to be an easy way to request and review testimonials from the customers you choose. It's not designed to collect or aggregate en mass reviews.
